What is the easiest way to find out what NEBCO has running on draft any given day? I've really curious to try Gandhi Bot and Fuzzy Baby Ducks, and am guessing the easiest way to trade for either would be via a growler trade. If that is true, then ideally I'd like to time my ISO:FT posting up with periods of time when one or both of those are on tap. Is Facebook the best place to check for this kind of information? Thanks in advance for your help! Kevin
how about the NEBCO what's on tap thread. http://www.beeradvocate.com/community/threads/nebco-whats-on-tap-thread.207434/page-4
Fuzzy Baby ducks is never announced, like all of there "hyped" beers. Gandhi seems to be on tap almost every week, so its safe to try to trade for that any time.
Yes NEBCO's Facebook is the place to monitor if you want info from them about what's on draft. FBD is usually a silent release so it may make sense to track the thread on here as mentioned above, though the last release of it in November was publicly announced on FB.
Fuzzy Baby Ducks was announced the last time around. It was short notice, but it was announced. I think NEBCO's at the point where they announce everything and they've started figuring out how to at least manage huge crowds even if they still have big lines. I'd recommend NEBCO's facebook page for figuring out what's on. They update pretty much daily with what's on. Although I will tell you that FBD is rare, it's been released just three times since late 2013, and is probably at least another 2-3 months away from being released again. Gandhi-Bot is regularly available, and while growlers are more reliably attained, if you find the right person you should be able to trade for cans without too much difficulty.
wouldn't bother trading for fuzzy baby ducks. it's excellent, definitely my favorite beer of theirs that isn't gold stock, but growlers don't necessarily hold up, especially in the mail. i mean, take it or leave it (my advice), but i don't think it makes much sense to trade for growlers of good lowish ABV excellent hoppy beers, especially if you have to give up a lot for them. chances are you can get something comparable that's in better shape.
gandhi bot on the other hand, you should be able to get it for much less (since it's made so often), and it is a bit stronger. would trade for that (though cans even better, since they sell out immediately so always fresh).
