Heading off to NECBO for the first time and looking for what to expect in terms of lines, waiting, how does the tastings work.cWhen is the best times to hit it on the weekend. Heard it hard to get parking. Also that you only get. One sample for every growler you order. What other brewery does it compare to in experience so I can prep my wife. She hates hill farmstead is it close to that?

    Any insights would be welcome.

I went yesterday.... I was there a half hour before opening and could have left 10 mins after they opened. They do a ticketed system where you fill out what three growlers you want. Stay in line until you can hand your ticket in and then wait by the tasting area for them to call your name/number. Grab some free samples and enjoy!

NEBCO just reopened this week after closing for a few weeks for renovations. The new tasting room is really nice, they did a great job in such a short window. Since they were closed the lines this week were a little longer, plus they had Fat Ten-er #2 so that brought out extra folks. The line is still very manageable and nothing like Treehouse or Hill Farmstead.

If you go later in day on a Saturday it's typically a really fast in and out (could be different this week). I have never had trouble getting parking--even when they have the whales like FBD and Coriolis.

I don't know who gave you the info on tastings, but they're wrong. They will give you around 4, but nobody is really counting usually.

For fills they changed the system. You walk in, fill out an order card (3 bottle total max, 2 bottle max of 1 beer), and step to the right for tastings. They will call your name/number when the fills are ready, you pay and you either leave or finish your tasting.

No idea where that came from, baseless. I was there on opening day (for the new room/system) & tried everything they had on (5+ samples) without any issues whatsoever. The new space is fantastic, it's a spot I actually want to bring some people to and hang out a bit while waiting for fills.

Definitely no limits on tasters. The space is awesome. The system for fills is way better than before. Huge upgrade imho.

Yes, fairly consistently update Facebook but by no means an industry leader in announcing what is available. They are much better over the last year about updating. That said, it is usually right around opening that they post.

They don't post the release of their big stuff like Ducks, Coriolis, or Locust Reign until right at opening usually. Kind of a silent release type deal.

The people at NEBCO are great! Can't say enough good things about them. Just go there. You won't be disappointed.
