I think with all of the recent drama, they are probably just laying low for the time being. Relax guys, give NEBCO a break, hopefully when all of this blows over, everything will go back to normal. I think lines are bigger because people are afraid they wont get gandhi bot, or that itll be a different name, or they are coming out in droves to show support (which is what I did. Buy a gandhi glass! #supportNEBCO !)

Besides... isnt that the point of this thread? To post what is on tap? They used to be pretty spotty about regular updates, so perhaps we've simply gotten spoiled.

I get all of that. I just posted it bc nothing big came out and past few days they haven't.

And to the it's nice for the regulars comment before, I'm a 35-40 min'er also, if no traffic. It's nice for us to get some heads up. I'm used to the bottles thing when they do that. Hopefully they just clarify this either way.

encourage people to post in the thread; NEBCO updates have always been sporadic. they appear to have their hands full these days.

@ comment about NEBCO not treating customers well, hi, welcome to the community, you're obviously new here. i encourage you to visit NEBCO and disabuse yourself of false assumptions.

I kinda figured it's possible it was a coincidence - just thought I'd ask. they definitely are super nice though from every experience I've had there.

I don't think anyone is debating that they are nice, I think they are great guys. The only problem I have is the lack of communication. Just makes it hard for me to plan any trips down there. I understand why they do it, just makes it hard on the CT folks outside of the immediate woodbridge area.

http://beerdbrewing.com/our-beers/ not updated for today or this coming weekend, same as on their facebook...

Is anyone complaining? Are most people from far away? If I want to know... I guess theres that old fashioned thing called a phone I could use... buuuuuut instead I'll say the buisness model is poor, staff is rude, they are far away, blah blah blah.

I'm almost impressed with the silliness.

Beer'd posts on Facebook what they have on tap everyday they are open even if the taplist doesn't change. This has been going on for well over a year now.

I understand the point you are trying to make but you might need to use another CT brewery as an example.

100% Beer'd is not the right one to pick ... They post everyday that they are open what is on sometimes even adding a post the night before and confirming morning of.

NEBCO was really consistent (for them, in particular) the last 3 months or so until this G-Bot controversy hit. Historically, NEBCO has not been a great updater

I would be intersted to know what percentage of their business comes from individuals within 50 miles. Going to take a wild guess that the percentage from individuals beyond 50 miles is higher than you think. This is a discussion forum, right?

For sure, you guys are right in the rebuttals to my comparison to beer'd. Just making a counterpoint (flawed as it was, it still delivered).
How about we get back to posting what's on tap, whoever goes there next. Clearly nebco isn't updating and has fairly good reason to just remain mute after everything they've been saying getting heavily criticized. If I make it this afternoon I'll be sure to let y'all know.

It would be good if more people updated this page with what's on tap. Most of the updates on this thread have been people relaying what NEBCO tweets or puts of FB. Would be really cool if people posted in here updates that NEBCO didn't make public. But, I know, people prefer the silence....

FWIW...I used to go to Nebco weekly for a fairly long time and still frequent enough and have never seen them run out of beer. Maybe a beer but never all beer. I do go more frequently mid week though, so maybe I'm wrong. It isn't all that unheard of for them to be running only two beers, but almost always at least one of them is excellent. (I'm in the Sea Hag is excellent camp). I again don't really recall them ever only having one beer on tap.

Of the breweries you've listed, I've only been to HF and JA, but I wouldn't say any of my experiences at either of those places has necessarily been better than most of my visits to Nebco. Sure, with HF their beers are world class pretty much across the board, but I don't know many places making better hoppy beers than Nebco. There are also some distinctions to be made in size/production/distro between these brewers. Either way I think Nebco is a solid destination for both locals and non-locals.

None of this is meant to be in disagreement, I do feel there should be a balance between supporting locals ongoing patronage while not putting visitors at the risk of having a bad experience. I have traveled to visit breweries well over an hour away and have been completely shut out of beer. I have missed limited releases at both local and more distant breweries. Both of those situations suck. I also do think Nebco has room for improvement as a brewery/tasting room, but their doing a pretty damn good job. Craig is the man!

    TL;DR

    NEBCOs got beers, delicious ones.
    Support your customers
    Drink good beers

@blckout20 - All fair points. I really enjoy their beers and do get a sense the owners and crew are good people. More of their beers is only a good thing. Cheers!

Stop complaining. IMO they don't make any bad beers and it seems as though they at least have Sea Hag or some sort of IPA on all the time. Personally I missed the days where I could stop by, help them can/label, grab a couple growlers, bring them beer, and have pointless stupid conversations. I've only been there twice since the new location but the new beers I've had from them have been really good. So if you have the patience that I do not possess the beers will be worth it if you stop no matter if they update their board or not. If you're driving a couple hours to get there and do not feel the beers are up to your standards, Amity Wine, Prime 16, Cask Republic, and the best pizza in the US are all 20 minutes or less away from NEBC. Either way you shouldn't leave unhappy.

Ironic. They just posted this on Facebook. First time I've ever seen them without any beer.
