Nebraska coming to CT

    Really pumped about this one. Learned from distro that Nebraska will be here in the spring. They will be carried by Craft Beer Guild. Love Nebraskas brews. Also Pretty Things and CBG are close to a deal. Props to my rep as he hooks me up with all the latest. So yeah, excited to say the least.

    Would be stoked by Pretty Things. Anything to make getting Saint Botolph's Town and Our Finest Regards easier is good for me.

    Looks like Nebraska has arrived.

    Cask Republic in New Haven posted they have the I.P.A. on tap today.

    Manchester W&L has six packs of their IPA, pale, nut brown and hefe in. I grabbed the IPA. Neat cans, will try one later.

    Just tried the Pale Ale for the first time and was pretty impressed. Not mind blowing but very drinkable.

    I like the IPA. They describe it as a west coast style, has something sweet yet bitter going on, a little juicy. I enjoy it a lot more than the DC Brau IPA, if you want to compare recent entries to the CT market.

    Great so it can join all of the other out of code beers after the first couple of week hype dies down. If GF and Sixpoint (among numerous others) can't move enough beer to stay in code at a reasonable price how do they think $24 bombers will do.

    I think you're stretching a bit at $24. A few people I know have bought the BBA Black Betty at $17ish.

    In NY, it is about $24 a bottle, and it sits because of the price. $17ish is more reasonable.

    Interesting, I saw six pack cans of the IPA yestderday. Having never heard of them and it $11.99, I passed. (and with fresh six packs of Larry right next to them at $10.99) Looks like I'll have to at least try it.

    Picked up a bottle of the reserve series Melange a Trois at Kay's Wine and Spirits if anybody was looking to try it! I missed the Imperial Black betty release so thought I'd take a chance and jump and try this one.
