So I have a friend who is heading out to South Carolina for vacation, he isn't much of a beer drinker, but as a favor to me who offered to bring me some off the shelf stuff there. I'm just not sure whats on the shelf that I can't get in Indiana. What I'm mainly looking for is: Terrapin (WnB, MooHoo, etc, others?) CCB (Just about anything, Jai Alai etc) Oskar Blues (Ten Fidy, not familiar with their other stuff) Lagunitas stuff Others... I would say I'm mainly looking for Terrapin and CCB but stuff I cant get in Indy would be awesome. Availibilty and prices would be most helpful. Thanks! Cheers, Jordan
www.seekabrew.com is your friend. CCB doesn't really distribute outside of FL. All of the others you named are sold in SC.
I used seekabrew, probably should have said that, im just not sure if these are seasonals, how fast they sell out, or how much they cost.
All things WnB are around in S.C., as well as Lagunitas. All of Oskar Blues stuff is here, as well as anything listed from Highland, Westbrook, Sweetwater, Green Flash, Allagash, Thomas Creek, RJ Rockers, and Stone. Those are the main 'surplus' beers in S.C., at least in the upstate.
You are at the end of the season for wnb and moo hoo. Although there are still a few cows out there and the wnb is a bit more difficult right now. Per the Brain above, SC doesn't get CCb. However, ask your friend to get you some Westbrook and coast items. Ten fidy should be around but be sure to pick up a 6er of DPA or deviant if they have it.
