You definitely described The Juice perfectly!! The ipa for my profile pic was crazy looking! it looks white in the photo though. When they first served it to me I thought they brought me a mimosa! LOL. The ipa in my picture is called Billy 18watt by Single Cut. It was very similar in taste to The Juice, but much more potent. Thank you for the kind words I appreciate the help. I will be buying all my brewing equipment next week so I can get started. I have been brewing over at a friends house and decided I wanted to get my own stuff so I can have full control over it. I have been buying the kits and using his equipment wit him. He is not as meticulous as I am lol

IMO Fuggle hops ruins a good beer. I am not a fan of these hops; too earthy/woody for my personal palate.

    Cheers!

Yes the bag by itself will cut your hop utilization, but the bag is really there to facilitate removing you FWH Apollo @ 30 min into the boil instead leaving them there for the full 60 min. I have been doing this with a lot of my bittering hops including Apollo. Haven't brewed with Apollo in awhile, but from what I remember they were ~ 18.5% AA. I hope this generates another FWH discussion as the folklore surrounding FWH is AMAZING

    Cheers!

Oh, Jack. I remember when we used to agree on everything... WY1469 and WLP585, Peter's IPA. What happened? I learn in one thread that you dislike fuggles, you apparently prefer kidney beans to black beans, and now you want to spoil the fun of the game by throwing flags for taunting. Tsk, tsk, my friend. Tsk.

There's really no need, as the wads were completely shot in this one.

I'm gonna go way out on a limb here and say that I bet @TooHopTooHandle has already brewed it.

As a new homebrewer that I brew with a neighbor, we experiment with 1 gallon kits first. If it tastes bad, you don't have 4 1/2 gallons left of good beer! If it's good, then up the batch to 5 gallons.
