    Hey All,

Finally moving into a new house this spring and I will be able to run an all grain setup finally. I haven't brewed consistently in about 8 years, and back then was a combo of all grain and extract batches. Since then i have sold off or lost all of my equipment. Can someone direct me to a good website and give me a list of all of the proper equipment ill need. This is essentially starting from scratch here in terms of gear. Looking to brew around 5 gallon batches but would be nice to have the room to scale up a few gallons.

Appreciate the help here and time spent.

    cheers,

    Jason

Welcome back to this insane hobby that we call homebrewing. Your questions can have many answers, and the right answers depend on which styles that you like to drink and what your budget might be for purchasing equipment. Your questions do come up frequently here in this forum, so the search feature may be your best friend. Here is a link to a search that I did of thread titles using 'equipment' as the search word. http://www.beeradvocate.com/community/search/32445728/?q=equipment&o=date&c[title_only]=1&c[node]=8 You can probably get other threads using 'newbie/noobie' or 'start' and other words that fit your needs. Or just begin to page backward through the pages and find the threads that give you some answers that fit your needs. If you've never read John Palmer's book howtobrew.com which is free online or the later edition of hard copy, it discusses equipment, recipes too, and is a highly regarded information source by homebrewers in this forum.

I would echo what he said - there are plenty of threads about this stuff.
To sum up, there are plenty of the big homebrew retailers / websites that sell kits.
Northern Brewer, MoreBeer, Austin Homebrew and Williams Brewing are the big ones that come to mind.
I see you are in Massachusetts, so (depending on exactly where you are) the local homebrew shops (LHBS) are Strange Brew in Marlboro, Homebrew Emporium in Cambridge and West Boylston, one in Brookline, on Beacon Street, I think (don't hold me to that one, and I don't remember the name, and another down South Shore, Plymouth Homebrew Supply, I believe.
