Thank you Coronaeus. I'll check out this brewery, In the meantime, I found an IPA at the Niagara Brewery in Niagara Falls Can. "Beer Devil" IPA. Only 4 ingredients and its wonderful. I'll let you know what I find at Granite

I personally choose to boil the extract for the duration of the boil (e.g., 60 minutes). Some homebrewers choose to just add a smaller portion (e.g., 30%) of the extract for the full boil and add the remainder towards the end of the boil (e.g., last 5-10 minutes of boil).

    You get to choose here.

    Cheers!

P.S. If you purchase malt extract which already have hops included (i.e., bitterness) you can produce wort using what is termed the 'non boil' method.

A number of breweries from Atlantic Canada ship nationwide with reasonable order minimums and produce straightforward IPA. I can completely recommend Propeller IPA (English style, and might even be available at the LCBC) and Tatamagouche Deception Bay IPA (West Coast style).

Whats wrong with wheat and oats? I put both in my ipas. Main issue with ipas is most are pale ales at best.
