Plus, OB/PL is great because you can walk to Slater's 50/50 right after going to Sunday service at the Rock. Or hit up the OB area after going to a Saturday night service at Newbreak.

That's all within walking distance?! The Noodle House sounds really cool. Most Pho/Vietnamese restaurants around here are BYOB or just serve Asian light lagers. This is great because I can easily convince my wife to go with me for lunch.

It depends. If you are the type that drives around the supermarket parking lot waiting for a front spot to open, then the up to 3/4 of a mile walk between the two furthest places on that list may prove daunting.

So what you're saying is, no, not walking distance.

Also, I swear I'm not stalking you to provide sarcastic comments.

Yes they are, and Noodle House is perfect for lunch. It gets real crowded and you need to wait around happy hr/dinner unless you are by yourself or maybe have one other person with you and can squeeze in the bar. They subscribe to the local "no crap on tap" mantra that has been growing exponentially in OB since I moved here 10yrs ago. Even the local hole BBQ and Kabob shops know that they can't get away with a shitty beer list in this town.

I will note that Noodle House's regular pricing is on the high side since they know how much business they get for their 4-6 half off happy hrs.

Coolest Noodle House story: last year on 1/20 they served 12ozs of DFH 120 at 1:20 for $1.20. Awesome.

Sublime Ale House is very close to Churchill's, like right across the street. The tap list is usually good, and the food is decent. You could grab the mussels or mac n' cheese for a snack before Stone. The service is usually slow, just so you know. But if you're in the area of Rip Current, Churchill's, etc, you could do a lot worse.
