A friend is now in the city that never sleeps. Looking for non whales but good east coast bottled beer. Saison, porters, stouts, Belgian style beers that he can buy at a market (wholefoods? Craft bottle shop?) I got him into craft about 3 years ago and he's been to a few good pubs/breweries. Just wanna do a trade w/him. Thank you in advance! sante!
Top hops on Orchid street has a great bottle selection. Tell him to pick up some bottles from grimm or singlecut. If he's still around tomorrow tell him to go to Other Half in Brooklyn. I'm not sure if they'll have bottles at this time as they're very limited but it wouldn't hurt him to try NYC's best brewery right now.
Well that's pretty non-specific and its a big city. Just for sheer density the Lower East Side/East Village area is probably your best bet. New Beer, Good Beer, Top Hops, and Bowery Whole Foods all relatively close together.
