    Hey everyone!

I understand that this is mainly home brewery forum, but I will try.. maybe somebody can give an advice.

We have a problem and a huge downtime. The point is that the bearings, we use for our depallletizer on the bottling line are not reliable. We can hardly use them 5-6 months and then change again.
My boss asked me to find more quality bearings. Now we use these bearings

Are there any other European manufacturer who can offer long lasting bearings?

    Thanks for any information.
PS: We are based in Texas.

It's a good thing you didn't ask about cider!

My advice is to call a good bearing company, Timkin, SKF, etc. I'm sure they would be happy to help, either over the phone or by sending a rep. I'm sure there are many local reps in Texas.

    Good luck,

While serving in the Navy, we had frequent failures on our fire pump electric motors. We were pulling one and rebuilding the motor every three months. We finally replaced the bearings with Fafnir precision bearings and extended the run time of the motors beyond 1 year. http://www.astbearings.com/fafnir-ball-bearings.html

I agree with Naugled. Any good bearing distributor like Motion Industries or IBT can find the right bearing for you. As a maintenance superintendent I have to ask, are you doing you preventive maintenance on the de-palletizers. Are they sealed bearing or can they be greased?
