Hello beer lovers, I'm currently on a quest to have a brew from all 50 states. I have 49 down and only 1 to go - West Virginia. Thanks to BA for helping with trades, im hoping it can help one last time. Anyone have access to a WV beer and willing to trade? Please let me know. Thanks BA community.
You should just put a trade request in the trading forum, you would get a lot more eyes on this and that is the right forum. Good luck! I dont think I have ever had a beer from WV.
What's funny is I've logged over 1000 beers on BA and I live 20 minutes from WV (albeit the panhandle) and don't think I've ticked west Virginia either. I can look a little harder next time I'm in the state for something if you're not in a hurry or after anything specific. Cheers
^ This. In fact, the OP trade offer really shouldn't be in this forum (even though I realize the OP is also asking for information and help). While I'm here however... I lived in Morgantown for 6 months, and one of the problems I think you're going to encounter is there aren't all that many breweries in WV, and those that are around are all fairly small and so many don't bottle or can their stuff. Not saying it's impossible (Mountain State cans some of their beers now for example), but it may be somewhat difficult. Good luck.
If anyone lives in Clarksburg or Morgantown either one, they should be able to get it. When I was there this summer I saw at least one if not 2 different breweries with cans on the shelf at Kroger.
