Well, I have to head to Minot on Monday for a funeral. I was wondering if there's any beers that I can't get here in MN that I can get there? Also was hoping to stop at the Sorius River Brewing, and asking for opinions on it.

    Thanks in advance.

Stop at junkyard in Moorhead. They fill growlers on Sunday's only, so that may be an option for you depending on travel. They also release crowlers from time to time as well.

I'll be headed toward Minot tomorrow afternoon. I'm thinking about stopping in Bismarck on the way there, if Laughing Sun does growler fills. On the way back (Tuesday afternoon) I'll be taking 52 to 94, since it would be out of my way to go back that way after the funeral.

Souris River in Minot has good beer and good food, so I'd say worth a stop. I think Laughing Sun does fill growlers, good beer there too. Pretty much anything you can get in ND, it is already available in MN. Heathen Brewing out of Washington distributes in Western ND but they are keg only. Rhombus Guys Brewing in Grand Forks does can there beers and you can find them in Fargo and GF but I'm not sure how far they distribute..

That info does help me a lot. I'll stop in Fargo to pick up some Rhombus cans. I'll also make a quick stop at Laughing Sun for a growler or 2. It's only an added half hour to go through Bismarck, instead of cutting across in Jamestown.
