Here is the situation. Have a couple of Brits that belong to a couple of companies that sponsor a semi professional team that I belong to. They're coming to the US to join our team for a weekend of fun. Here is the problem. Our team captain has said they don't care for "micro brewery" beer but love Budweiser (no accounting for taste). What NC craft beers come close to Budweiser in taste?

Honestly, I must go out and buy a bud, I haven't had one in over a decade. Maybe someone has some ideas?

Oskar blues mama's little yellow pils. Not as cheap as bud, but kind of similar especially once it warms up a bit.

I have a British neighbor (Wales) and I see him regularly drinking a variety of the Olde Meck beers and Oskar Blues Mama's Lil Yellow Pils. Rarely drinks anything too hoppy, but does drink the lower IBU IPA's that I have in the fridge.

I would go Olde Meck Captain Jack and some OB Pils. At worst, you have some decent beer to drink yourself.

I'd throw Red Oak in the ring too. Criminally underrated on BA.

Highland Lost Cove would a great bet if you can find any of it around. Ultra light but still tasty
