    You'd melt/deform it.

    Or glass, for that matter.

Can't find where you might have linked to your source for trichloromelamine. Found it on Amazon as Beer Clean, 100 packs for about $29. Is that the going rate or do you get it considerably cheaper? I like that it comes in packs for 2.5 gallons; that's how much Starsan I mix for brewday and it leaves enough to carry me through bottling day.
Once mixed, is the shelf-life of trichlor similar to Starsan?

I'm on well water and am wondering what it is about your well water that caused you to post here that you can't mix Starsan with yours.

I don't really know what is wrong with my well water other than it has a lot of arsenic, high pH, and smells like a fart on occasion. What I do remember is that when mixed with Starsan it smelled awful instantly. I've been here 25 years and I will have it tested when I sell, but see no reason to do it now as I use RO for just about everything except irrigation.

As far as the trichloromelamine, I buy it at a restaurant supply store for ~$15 for 100 tablets (1 tab makes 2.5 gal @ 100ppm)
