Need some Stouts (North Carolina)

    I've recently got into stouts very heavily due to colder weather here in NC. And I want to try some of your favorites. I've tried
    Old Rasputin, Ten Fidy, Breakfast, and Brooklyn Black Chocolate. I've got vampire slayer but I've yet to open it. What are some suggestions? I can't get BCBS in my area so unfortunately that's out. But I'm open to anything.

    I can suggest bells expedition, dark horse plead the 5th, new holland the poet, any of the great divide yetis, Boris or Doris from hoppin frog. I'm not sure which of those you have available to you but I think they are all solid shelf beers. The ones you have mentioned are pretty darn good examples and are hard to beat IMO.

    I saw Siberian night but didn't pick it up. I've been dying to try founders imperial and haven't had any luck in my stores.

    You likely will not see Founders IS until Jan. Terrapin Wake N Bake is delicious as well and should be out very soon. I also agree on Bells a Expedition - truly amazing.
