So far hop rising is my go to beer, and if it's baseline, sam Adams rebel ipa.

Ipa and belgian are my favorite styles, what have ya'll tried that you'd recommend?

Not sure where you are located, but welcome to BA!

Good tool on this site are the beer styles lists (at top of page, under "beers", then find your style)

Check here for good starting point for accessible DIPA's in your area.....

Welcome to the boards...there definitely is no lack of double ipas on the market...the best advice is to let us know where you are so we can give you a list of what is readily available to you (distribution wise).

Depending where you are, Dreadnaught is a good choice. 100 IBU I believe. Some Founders choices like Devil Dancer ( although close to a Barleywine) and Double Trouble are also higher IBU.

If you are new to the craft beer thing, something you should know about IBU. Just because a beer has a high IBU doesn't mean it will be bitter, or heck, even "hoppy". Whoever came up with IBU probably had the best intentions, but now it's just a marketing gimmick at best.

There are plenty of low IBU single IPAs out there that are quite bitter, if that is your thing. Some singles are big on the hops and low on the malted grains. All my blah blah anti-IBU talk aside, try a Stone Ruination or a Lagunitas Hop Stoopid. Both are usually easy to find and might provide the punch you seek.

Definitely look through the style page for IIPA and use Seekabrew to see what's distributed in your area (also, post your area on your profile here so people can give you better, more targeted advice).

I'll second Stone Ruination and add anything from Three Floyds, anything from La Cumbre, DC Brau On the Wings of Armageddon, Bells Oracle, Founders Double Trouble, Surly Abrasive, and Alchemist Heady Topper. There are definitely others out there, but those all strike me as being the most bitter (and delicious) that I've had.

I don't think Avery Maharaja or anything from Dogfish Head belongs here. Maharaja is really more of a hoppy amber and doesn't come off that bitter. DFH is very much east-coast focused on balance rather than bitterness.
