    Grain:
    10# 2-row American
    1# Crystal 60
    1# flaked oats

    Possibilities: 1# Aromatic
either 1# special B or Molasses

    Hops:
    1oz Willamette @ FO

    Possibilities:
1 oz Chinook or Warrior - first wort hopping
1 oz Northern brewer or Sterling - 45 min

    Thinking US-05 for yeast.

What do y'all think about this recipe and which of the "possibilities" would you go with.
Keep in mind, I'm am not shooting for a specific style here. I might say, I'm looking for an oatmeal brown ale just to describe my hopes for the finished product.

I think it could benefit greatly from the Aromatic but a pound seems like a lot for this recipe. I would think you'd want to cap it around 1/2#. Northern brewer just works in a brown ale, IMO.

    I think it looks great!

sub the crystal with the aromatic, bitter with the chinook and/or warrior to 40ish, 15min with willamette, and dry hop with the sterling.

i was thinking belgian brown ale at first if you switched up the yeast and added a bit of the special b as well.
