I missed that, thanks for pointing it out. Maybe Gary took my suggestion from last year!

Nevermind the pierogis. Notch Provisions closed. Pizza place is really solid there though.

I haven't been, but it's been on my list forever and is supposed to be very good. Only a mile away.

    They use Jaju I believe.
Fox Den is good, I had them at Idle Hands and their rogis were good.

NERAX 25 night one was really stellar - packed house and everything I had was in top form. I started with HF Edward - this years entry not dry hopped - just regular Eddie - it was fruitier than OG - more brassy in appearance and I of course I loved it. I moved on to Jarl and it was bright and citrusy - crystal clear/perfectly conditioned (after settling - don’t be fooled by the “just pulled” photo below). Finished with the two Loch Lemond offerings - a Pale Ale I think and a Scottish Ale - both superb. I went full pint on the first two and 1/2 on the two LM beers - love getting the larger pours - so 3 full pints over 3 hours. Great pace - great conversations - amazing beers. The overall vibe of the room was inviting and convivial as always. Congrats to Mark Bowers and the NERAX team - going back tonight - who else is going ??

I was walking out the door when they announced last call - but I don't think anything kicked.

That's a strong showing of Bitters, I like it.

Some day they'll get Timothy Landlord...

Night #2 was hopping - everything I had was in good form. Kvet12 from Schilling was a treat, Legra Pale from Leigh by Sea (met the brewer/owner Ian Rydings who shared his breweries fascinating story), Drop In Brewing’s Scotch Ale, Vonn Trapp’s base Helles and a nice American Pale Ale from Swannay called Orkney’s Best. I tended to gravitate to the non traditional but there were tons of milds/bitters/British pales to be had. Cheers again to the NERAX team and all the volunteers.

Would you mind reposting this pic of the "pale ales" and porters? It's showing up too small to read here. (Thanks for the pics BTW!)
That one is a bitter rather than "American."

When you click on the pic does it bring up a larger image of it? It does for me, but maybe because I posted it. If they are difficult to read, I can repost the smaller ones to one image per post which should fix that problem.
