Looking forward to drinking some cask ale this week. Going Wed. & Thurs. Hoping to try as many as I can, 1/4 pints until I find a mainstay.

Anyone else going? What beers are you looking to try?

I'm going Friday night. I haven't had a chance to check out the beer list yet, but I usually just see what's on the board when I get there then do a little research in the book to figure out what I want. I also like to get 1/4 pints so I can try many different beers rather than a lot of only a few beers.

It's a bit unfortunate NERAX isn't in Davis Sq. this year. I always liked grabbing a beer at Redbones while I waited for my friends to arrive from the suburbs. However, I'm looking forward to the larger venue.

The Indo is not that far away. I will miss getting a iced cold Mickey's and a greasy slice of pizza at Mike's beforehand ... larger venue will be great, easier to walk away from the crop dusters. :grimacing:

I'm there Friday for sure, possibly Thurs, depending on real life getting in the way. I'm looking forward to Cape Cod Brew, Jack's Abby and Ruination, plus about half the rest.
I will miss Anna's Taqueria after, but I won't miss the crowds and the mens room with the broken stall for three years (or more) running.

I'll be there on Wed. Going to drink as much blondish low abv stuff from the UK as possible - so I can still find my way home from unfamiliar territory. Maybe some US hop bombs if there are any.

Is parking available on site or street parking only?

    1st year was funny
2nd year - "Are they serious?" aimed at the venue not NERAX.
3rd year - "WTF" ... pretty sure people went in there to use it anyway as the floor got nasty.

    Ahhhh the memories ...

After looking at the US list there are probably only two I'll look for ... Moat Mountain Boneshaker Brown & American Flat Bread London Calling. Lots of UK stuff that looks very interesting.

Hill Farmstead Edward I would get from the American list, but as I am not going until Saturday I probably won't get any.

There is no way to know when things will be tapped. Edward might go on tap Wed. or not til Sat.

I plan to be there Wed. & maybe Thurs., and will be there working on Sat.
As always, I will concentrate on the U.K. beers, trying as many as possible.

I know how it works Jimbo, I am just guessing the odds are against me. This is Chris btw, we had some good beer at Hobo Saturday.

Ah, ok, Chris. Didn't recognize your BA name.
Yeah, it is a long shot that Edward will be left on Saturday, but you never know.

    Hey jason,
David here with Marshall Wharf Brewing up in Belfast, Maine. Sorry that we missed getting on your radar for the american casks. I am bringing 2. Pinchy Red Ale @ 3 % abv and on the other end of the spectrum the Cant Dog DIPA ( dry hopped ) @ 10 % abv, with about 4 weeks on it. I'll be there Friday, sorry to miss you. Would love to get you a case of growlers and some bourbon barrel aged bombers to check out. Let's connect?

    Thanks and cheers!

I was just looking at Google Maps regarding this new NERAX location. This new location might actually be more convenient to the Haverhill commuter rail. Previously I had to take the Red Line from Davis, to Park St., then Green Line to North Station. Now it seems I can walk to Sullivan Sq and take the Orange Line to Malden Center to connect with the Haverhill train.

    It's a 5 minute walk to Sullivan.

Easier for me as well ... cabbing it from Winthrop. Davis Sq. is never easy to get to.
