I wanted to know everyone's thoughts on this beer if you've had it? I see they are having a bottle release for a barrel aged version this Saturday. While I'm all for supporting local breweries I would like to the beer good before spending $20 and standing in line for a bottle.

A little info from their facebook page:

For our First Anniversary in 2013 we brewed a hefty American-styled Barleywine we dubbed Concrete Pillow. We only made 600 bottles available, and the rest of the brew went towards a very limited amount of draft as well as a 12 month slumber in some Wild Turkey Bourbon barrels that had recently been emptied of our Russ...ian Imperial Stout, Leon. Here we are another 12 plus months and we’re ready to let this monster run wild ounce, and only once!

Exhibiting notes of Bourbon, vanilla, maple syrup, deep, earthy oak, and chewy, bready toasted malts, Bourbon Barrel Aged Concrete Pillow will be available for the FIRST AND ONLY TIME EVER at the brewery Saturday, June 21st at 12 Noon to the general public. We again limited the number of bottles to 600, so once they’re gone, they’re gone! We have absolutely no plans to ever age this beer in Bourbon barrels again. You have been warned. Once this train leaves the station it isn’t coming back!

Bottles are $20/each, limit two per person.

This will sell out quickly, so make plans accordingly.

The three ratings are pretty positive, but $20 is a little pricey

They still have some left as of an hour ago on a Facebook message. It is the wifes birthday, or I would have run up for a couple, I love barelywine and I love their brews. Bad timing for me.
