OMG, I can't believe this isn't on eBay or a really long thread about it already:
Our "Not Normal" Berliner-Style Weisse, a tart and refreshing liquid homage to Euro Culture, is now for sale at the Brewpub. $12 a bottle, with a limit of one per person.

...and I thought this post was about the new brewpub after the original one got destroyed in fire.

Yeah, really surprised loads weren't getting blown all over the place with this announcement.

It's been on the internet for an hour people!

Hope this lasts a little while.

Any chance someone could grab me one? Live in Downers Grove/Naperville area. Blonde haired, blue eyed, German...so kind of essential that I get this one.

Send me a PM, if possible.

    THANKS!

Anyone notice a trend yet? Every Tuesday for the past 3 weeks FFF has released a new beer around noon at the brewpub.

Currently taking odds that next Tuesday at noon a FFF Facebook announcement will be made.

I thought about that after last week's release, and was thinking of taking a half day today just in case. Doubt Deesko will be as limited as Priest though, but who knows. They are 1 per.

At the brewery I was told that there were 50 cases produced and they hoped that the bombers lasted "until tomorrow." At $12/bottle, they were unsure of how long it would last at one bottle/person.

Pretty cool and kind of offensive to Germans label:

You're right it's been on Tuesday, but it's been about 2:00 not noon. I was told the same thing regarding the number of bottles produced. I was up there just before 3:00 and there were only about 2 or 3 other people.

While I've never had this beer (and it could be amazing) $12 for a bomber of a barely 3% brew is pretty damn ridiculous. For some reason, with a price like that I need a BIG beer. Not a finesse beer.

God, a lot of my posts lately have been bitching about price.

The label is pretty boss though, 3Floyds never seems to disapoint with the artwork. I love how nothing is really similar.

I was a bit confused about the price as well but then again there are only 600 bottles...supposedly.

Low bottle count = high price? Why?
