So my assertion that its 3% is not incorrect? Since deesko and I love deesko is indeed the same beer they are listed at 3% and 5.9%?

Whats the reason for calling me out then?

EDIT: I know it wasnt you who called me out...

Anyone willing to give up their label, as I'm not sure if I will end up getting a bottle from anyone?

I am always intrigued by people who correlate price with alcohol level. Id quickly and happily pay $20 for a berliner weisse ive never had before than for another bomber of a bourbon county stout variety.

I know my example is extreme but just because a beer is below 5% doesnt mean it took them any less time, money or resources to make.

Edit: cant believe i just defended FFF. I need to quit the internet now.

I find it odd about the craze of Berliner Weisse in the US vs. Germany. In Germany the beer is not very popular at all. Germans think of the beer style as a "kid" beer. In fact Kindl has a little boy on the label. You can pick up a bottle of Kindl at a store for roughly 25 cents. If you order a Berliner Weisse in Germany they ALWAYS serve it with syrup and look at you like your nuts if you ask for it plain. Guess that's why we have Neapolitan ice-cream. Not everyone likes the same flavor.

That is quite the high ABV for a Berliner Weisse. I guess just like Alpha King is a "pale ale".

I was going to offer to split my bottle with you and you could take the bottle. However, I just saw the tweet saying you were at FFF Brewpub. Hopefully, you got your own. If not, the offer still stands.

Okay, then it's a Strong Berliner Weiss. I know of at least one German brewery that brews a Strong Berliner Weiss. None of it matters anyway, it's FFF take on a Berliner Weiss--it doesn't have to be traditional.

As far as Alpha King's 6.0% abv, it is not out of line for an APA. Many fall between 5-6% abv. There are several others that are 6%+. In the end, I don't think FFF cares anyhow. If I were the brewer I wouldn't.

I should have clarified. The hop profile for Alpha King, not ABV, is strong to be a pale ale. I know IPAs with less hop character. I generally dont mind unless you start to compare beers by style.

As far as the actual beer in question, I wasn't complaining, just commenting. Sorry if I offended you.
