I really liked the Boston Beer version. Thought it was quite a tasty beer.

This is great news and I look forward to a review of this version on BA (versus the one brewed by Sam Adams a year or so ago). My issue with the Sam Adams one is that it had quite a noticeable DMS scent (IMO) which to me is the sign of a lager fermentation, not an ale fermentation. I'd think the 1970's-early-80's original was warm-fermented in an open fermenter and would not present this feature, yet I also read that Jack McAuliffe was pleased with the BBC recreation, so who knows. A draft version brewed in a brewpub for local consumption may get closer to the original albeit it was a bottled beer, or primarily, in its inception.

Cleveland BA-ers please step up to the plate!
