    Hey friends!

I just recently relocated back to SE Georgia (right across the Florida-Georgia border). Last time I was here, there wasn't much in the way of craft beer - but I wasn't all that into it, either.

I've poked my head around various corners of the internet, this site, and just driving around, and so far .... things don't look good.

Anyone have some advice or recommendations? Jacksonville is about an hour away, so that's really only viable if I don't have any other options.

    Cheers!

I know there are some new breweries opening up sometime soon on st. Simons and Jekyll. Jax is your best bet though honestly. I'd love to live an hour from Aardwolf, green room, intuition, etc.

Savannah has a few good places (Distillery, Bier Haus, Habersham Beverage)

Charleston/Mt. Pleasant would be a little drive but it is definitely a beer hotspot (Westbrook, Coast, Lagunitas Bar, Edmund's Oast, House of Brews)

I have buddies that live in Brunswick, and they come to Jax to drink good beer. there is at least some good distro there. Westbrook, Clown Shoes and some others that i can't get in Florida! That being said, our newest brewery to tap their own is Southern Swells. Legit NE IPA called Karate in the Garage, you need to make it down here to try it!
