New bar time

    opening just in time for something that happens every year I'm off tonight for the pre opening of Tapped Leeds. It'll be good

    27, yes 27 taps. From what I can recall it will be 14 for real ale and 13 for keg. In house brewery assembled by Brewmaster from Pilsner Urquel, quite a few fridges packed with a good assortment of beer. and a Pizza oven!

    I remember say about 22 years ago when 8-10 handpumps would mean a lot of the time beer sat in the pumps going off.

    Now this is good ale progress.

    today I visited the new 'Tap' bar, Harrogate Tap. Same guys who run Euston Tap, Sheffield Tap, Pivni, York Tap & Tapped Leeds. This one is just outside Harrogate Train Station, 12 cask and 14 Taps, really nice conversion job, looks a little like Sheffield Tap.
