Hi all, I remember some articles last year about a new bar potentially moving into disused space that was owned by the transit authority here. It was a small franchise (if you could call it that) that had two, maybe three locations, down south. Florida for sure, and something like Alabama or Georgia? Someplace with a larger taplist than any place around here; somewhere around 100 proposed taps. That's all I remember. Can't come up with the name, and can't seem to find any of the articles from 2011. Anyone have a clue what I'm talking about, and what the status is?
I believe you're referring to the Blacksheep Barleyhouse that was planned for the Red Rose Transit Authority building on Queen Street. The building project was delayed, and the Blacksheep Barleyhouse pulled out of the deal. Last I heard, they were looking for a different location, but I've heard nothing since late November last year.
