Mercury has snuck beer past TABC before (Slumbrew). Maybe they can do it again.

That's brilliant. Plus, I want to drink it.

Good chance I'll get a taste, but probably not an entire bottle.

Brash has a lot more eyes on them than Slumbrew ever would.

Dissident should be making its way here as well.

Texas Exile should hit shelves in Mass late next week... just in time for my trip to see the family. Planning on bringing some bottles back.

Picked up some Santa Fe Imperial Coffee Stout at Spec's Arborwalk. $8.99. Solid value for a 6-pack, imho. They also had the Oktoberfest.

Just hit up Deschutes on twitter and they responded that Texas will be getting The Dissident, but it is tough to gauge where and when it will arrive.

Agree - the Java Stout is solid. It really suprised me the other night, especially for the price.

Wow, I hope we are. Didnt see our name on the 18 state list for distro. put out earlier this week, so I assumed we would not be seeing any, but this is great news

My buddy emailed Deschutes a while ago, and a rep said Texas probably wouldn't get any, but I have been holding out hope and wish for the love of good beer, you are correct.

Deschutes only distributes to 19 states. I seriously doubt they would ship to Montana before they shipped to TX.

Either way, I hope yall are right. I just know that what was made was an extremely small amount this year.

And I hope we see Rumpkin as well, but that # is even smaller (in # of total cases produced this year, IIRC) and I believe Avery said they doubt if it ever leaves Colo. this year

I was just in San Diego a few months ago and there was plenty of last years Rumpkin sitting on the shelves. Guess I should have bought some when I had the chance....

In comparison... Jester King's widest limited release was a tad over 200 cases and it made it to all 3 corners of Texas (sorry El Paso  ). I predict think we should see it, at least in some limited fashion with those numbers. Just speculation though.

I just want to try that delicious rummy pumpkin goodness! Wasn't aware it was that limited.
