    NEW RUSSIAN IMPERIAL STOUT
    Low 60s and sunny in the Lilac City - seems pretty incredible when you think that there was several inches of snow on the ground 2-3 days ago. Spent a soul-killing day looking at cars. Found one that was almost what I wanted but not quite, plus some real turkeys.
    Got home and poured myself a Black Cauldron from Grand Teton:
    It was okay, nothing earthshattering, but it was a little old, though that's usually not much of a problem for the style.
    Something tells me I'll be back with another new beer later on today.

    Part of the Pyramid spring sampler. Six bottles of four different beers. This is easily the least remarkable of the lot.

    Yeah, I'm going to have to figure out that picture thing. Not much of a photographer though.

    Nothing anywhere near 80's like the upper mid-west saw last week, but today was easily the nicest day of the year so far. Sunny and not quite 60.

    I see my DBF is fresh out of new and untried beers, so I'm going to have to go out next week in search of same. The March edition of the Elysian 12 Beers of the Apocalypse ought to be available at the Swamp in Spokane, so I'll probably venture in there this week.

    Happy Trails!

    _______<-------New English Barleywine------>_________

    A glorious Sunday here in Northcentral IL. It's now 9:30 and I finally found enough time after landscaping chores to sit down with a new beer... I grabbed this one from the fridge because had really wanted to try it.
    It didn't disappoint.... Which is to say, it was absolutely terrible, but that was the plan anyways.

    Cheers all you NBSers, Monday is but hours away...
