    Good mornin' all you fools for better beer!

    Central Ohio has had some crazy spring weather lately. Lots of storms and severe weather. Not quite as bad as the storms surrounding certain releases (KBS, DLD, etc) but I digress...

    My family headed to TN for spring break and brought me back a growler from the Smokey Mountain Brewery. Looking forward to breaking into their Pale Ale.

    Speaking of NBS, this is the place to share what you've sampled today!

    Please log in with a full report of what fine new beer you sampled today. Please provide a good description, a link to your review, or if you are really spiffy (like malty) a picture of what you've had.

    Heading off to flag football practice for the boys but I will be back with my new offering later today.

    G'day Matt and to the rest of the NBS-ites!

    A windy but warm and sunny day here in Casper. I played a few games of trivia and had a couple of pints of Samuel Adams Boston Lager at the Old Chicago and came home to drink and review this:

    New as it gets -- my homebrew spring pale ale has been in bottle for two weeks now and has just started to reach peak. The hops are crisp, good malts, nice mouthfeel. Nothing in the world more satisfying than a beer you're proud of.

    Enjoyed an Allies Win The War in the backyard on a pleasent afternoon in NW Ohio. I have been real impressed with 21st Admendment and this one did not let me down either. Cheers

    Happy NBS to all...

    It was a partly/partly day here on Long Island with temps in the low 50's. I went food shopping with the wife and when we came home I helped my son change the oil on my car and his truck. There's pulled pork in the slow cooker so I took a run to Whole Foods and got a growler filled with a local beer...

    I haven't had a chance to have Flying Dog's beers yet, so today I figured I would try out their Gonzo Imperial Porter (which I loved!)

    New Pale Ale Sunday (week 372)


    Sloppy and chilly day of rain here, echoing my mental state after quite a tasty yesternight of beer drinking and cigar herfing at our tasting club behind brother Ken's house, The Doom Saloon. Having a tasty brew that probably would have gotten more highly rated by me if it weren't for the blessing of such an abundance of superb pale ales available nowadays. Hope all my fellow BA's are feeling and drinking fine today, and that is no April fools.
