Ha, drinking my 1st one too. Good description, maybe not as flavorful as Dark Horse Pt5th but not a hint of unpleasant flavor. Crisp is right on. Love it.

I had this Brewer's Share release from Full Sail. A nice beer but I wouldn't call it strong or bitter. A nice easy drinking brew with a caramel bread flavor above all else.

Nice day here in the Columbia Basin. Partly cloudy, temps in the high 60's, and a light south westerly breeze. Just what you'd hope for this time of year. The rains are coming tomorrow.

    Happy Trails!

Pours out a deep, brushed bronze color, with a ton of sediment floating around. A two finger head, brown tinged, falls to a short, tight cover. Not much lacing.

Aromas of caramel malts with a citrus zest. Light spicing and woody pine.

Big malt profile, with flavors of caramel and toffee. Very juicy, grapefruit hop flavors, with some sweetness and citric sourness. Floral and woody, reminds me of redwood tips. Touch of alcohol on the finish, but not overpowering at all. Hop bitterness lingers in the mouth, with some residual sweetness.

A really nice red. I like the malt profile, and the citrus hops are very juicy. Happy Sunday everyone!

Finally added/reviewed the two new ones from a CCB brewer's new brewery, 7venth Sun. Temerity Fort, a barrel-aged BSDA, and Superfly, a barrel-aged porter. Very nice stuff from a new-ish brewery in the Tampa area.

    Superfly: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/27724/80858/?ba=djmichaelk

Both are on the sweet side, and have some great cellaring potential, although Superfly is great now. Justin and crew are doing some very interesting things in Dunedin; be sure to check out their Berliners if you get the chance.
