Greetings malt monkeys and hop hounds! Hope this message finds you enjoying yet another fine Sunday that's full of all things new and beer related.

Weather in Central OH is finally summer-like. Although the local offerings around here don't seem to follow suit. Saw a resurgence of KBS, CBS, and Hoptimum in the local bottle shops which I hadn't seen in a while. I'll take those any time of year and it was nice to have them back.

I'm personally looking forward to my son's flag football league being done today and moving into a little bit less chaotic summer-like mode.

Whatever you're into today, I'm hoping you have a chance to have a nice cold one that's new to you!

Please sample your new offering, write a review, and post it here! Just a friendly reminder that we prefer linked review. If you aren't going to review then please provide a good description. Posts like:
    1. "My wife liked it"
    2. "I enjoyed it"
    3. "It smelled yummy"
    4. "Tastes refreshing"
    5. "Coldest tasting beer I've ever had"

are all subject to public flogging and various heckling via emoticons like: :grimacing:,, or

Thanks for keeping NBS fresh, informative, and fun. Good day and good drinkin'.

    Peace, love, and malty-ness,

    Matt

    ***New Fruit/Vegetable Beer!!!

G'day Matt and to the rest of the NBS-ites!

Coolish day here in Casper but there's plenty of sunshine.

    My new brew:

I liked it more than most; I thought Alaskan did a spot on job in the way they used the raspberries.

    New APA Sunday

    Greetings to All NBSer's,

Gorgeous summer day in SCMN. Hard to be indoors, but with EuroCup it's a tough call. Probably a little of both.

I'm working through lots of hoppy beers this month, mostly APA's and IPA's. Such a chore. Especially, with the likes of today's offering, Odell's St. Lupulin. Here is the link -

but suffice it to say well done beer perfect for a day like today.
Best to all out there and thanks to Matt for hosting.

New English Barley Wine Style Ale Sunday

A really nice sunny day here, but temps only in the mid 60s. Well, I finally got a chance to try this brew out, very tasty and the best BWSA I've had to date. If you can get your hands on some, definitely do it, I think you will not be disappointment to say the least.

    Happy NBS to all...

Lovely day here on Long Island. Sunny skies with temps in the upper 70's and low humidity. My wife and I cleaned out the backyard sheds and got rid of some of the junk I've been collecting. I always grab stuff I think I can use and stick it in one of my 2 sheds. My wife cleans out the sheds with me once a year and she tells me that if I haven't used it over the past year, it's garbage. Oh well, I got a whole year of junk collecting ahead of me.

Anyway, on to the beer. After working in the yard I rewarded myself with this glass full of bitterness...

New Belgian Pale Ale Sunday (week 381)

Greetings NBS'ers, hot but finally dry day here on the ridge in Mid Hud Val NY, and in the background of the picture below you can see the front/west part of my prop. on the ridge, and maybe understand why we love it here. The beer is a California interpretation of a style Belgians were perfecting when Indians were showing us how not to starve in American winters, but not a bad try at it. I am not finished with the bottle and quite enjoying it. Hope you have a fine American beer in your hand as well, my friends. Cheers!

    New Saisson - Farmhouse Ale

Boulevard Brewery in Kansas City just rolled out its Saisson - Brett Smokestack Series beer, and you knwo I had to get my hands on that. Once again, Boulevard outdoes themselves. Here it is:

Personably, I woudn't mind a nice Dobblebock, a crisp IPA and a thirst quenching Pilsner, right now. Just me, of course.

How about actually trying a new one and posting it here? This thread is for people who've actually sampled new beers and are kind enough to share a good description of what they've had.

    Thank you,

Not even close man. Either you had a stroke or you can't read the first post of the day.

    Try again next week.

Thanks for playing. We have some lovely parting gifts for you.
