    New American IPA

Afterburner IPA which is apparently some sort of contract brew for a seller on Whidbey Island, home of a Naval Air Station.

Highly carbonated, with an unmanageable head and cleanser like taste makes this one below average I's afraid.

Breezy here in the Columbia Basin, with temps in the mid 70's.

    Happy Father's Day all.

Flyers is a brewpub, they brew on-site, with the exception of some of the Afterburner and some of the Pacemaker Porter, which they brew at Skagit River, due to demand and capacity. Tony, the brewer and co-owner for Flyers, used to be a brewer at Skagit and is (obviously) still on very good terms with Mike at SR. Maybe you got an old bottle of Afterburner, it's generally among my favorite local IPA's. If you're ever over on this side, a nice day beer trip is visiting Skagit and North sound in Mt. Vernon, Anacortes brewing in Anacortes and flyers in Oak Harbor.

Was a nice fathers day. I did my fathers day on Saturday with my wife and daughter. Did a new "faux" irish pub in Chino Hills. Dublins. Had a Racer 5 and a Hangar 24 Helles on tap ($3 pints) Went with a lamb burger. Very well done.

Sunday was at the inlaws so my daughter could see grandpa and go swimming. I didnt bring anything with to drink so raided my father in laws fridge. Stone Pale Ale, Boont Amber and a Mission St. IPA

    Cheers!
