    Northwest Pale Ale

I've been out of the formal reviewing scene for a while now, but couldn't have picked a more perfect brew to fall back into the fold.

Deschutes Red Chair NWPA really brought it home. I believe the best pale ale I've EVER had. Seriously.

I'm gonna piggyback the Belly's NB for S as I too enjoyed this fantastic brew from one of my favorite breweries.

Oh yeah, the weather was finally great here in Southern, CT this weekend. We spent some time outside and doing some Daylight Savings chores. Our 9 month old daughter decided sleeping is not very fun this weekend so some sleep is hopefully in line.

    New Black IPA Sunday

Spectacular day in north Florida! Low 70's with a warm, sunny breeze. Got some needed yard work done and relaxed afterwards with a Clown Shoes Hoppy Feet Black IPA. I seem to either love or hate various examples of this style, and this one was definitely on the "love" side. Great price, too!

    -----------/* NEW AMERICAN IPA *\------------

I did nothing all day today.
For real. Nothing. The wife was out running around so I sat at home and read while the kids played.
It was everything I hoped it would be.

I would never have left the house but for 3 reasons:
    1) I wanted to get gas so I didnt need to stop before work tomorrow.
    2) I decided to make some soup and needed some ingredients.
    3) I noticed I had no beer I could drink for NBS...

Well living in my small town means selection locally is pretty limited.
I ended up with the IPA mixpack from Sam Adams.

So I started off with the Tasman Red:
A malty IPA that seems to deserve the name "decently hoppy red ale," if only such a style existed.
I found it to be decent until it warmed up and then the experience went downhill a bit.

    Here's the review:

So this was a cool 12 pack from SA-- 2 bottles each of 6 different beers. That's a ticker's dream...

    Happy NBS all!
