    Good Evening, Late Night NBS.
Thanks, as always, to our most gracious hostess with the mostest, @utopiajane .

Some great reading today. Thanks to One and All.
We've been hella busy here at Casa 2 Perros, but I'm happy to say I discovered a new offering from San Diego's Mother Earth Brewing. And one that's very appropriate for this cooler weather. (I don't die say "cold" because some of you truly know what cold is.

    Quit Stalin a BBA RIS

Smells mix and meld. Smoky baker's cocoa, some Bourbon sweetness, dark coffee roast and hints of charred barrel.
Taste is even better. The cocoa, Bourbon, and roast all move around, sharing the spotlight. Hints of toasted caramel shine through as well but then give away to the roast and cocoa. This is where it shines. It has that full, round, not sweet cocoa flavor. And the roast plays well here. But for sweetness, in comes a bit of Bourbon. Really well balanced. A mild heat comes through as well.
Mouthfeel is a tad chewy yet it finishes somewhat slick.
Overall, I'm going to try this one again.

Comin in real late tonight, wonder who's still up with me Late Night NBS style?!

Today I got to dig into a new brew Hill Farmstead, Anna.

Pours a hazy gold color, nice solid white head that holds decent retention and turns into a nice frothy ring. Good carbonation on the bottle, as one would expect with a saison. Some tart fruits on the nose, obviously a little funk in there. Taste is similar, but where this beer really shines. The honey added to this beer brings the sweetness up a notch from a standard saison and I feel as though it compliments these yeasts just beautifully. Dangerously easy drinker, and a fantastic beer! BA generated score is a 4.27, wonderful beer.

Good Morning everyone! You all have brought the house down again with your reviews . Thank you for sharing Sunday with us. Some of us are in the deep freeze this week while others are looking at warmer temps. I think I may just have to keep my promise to @cavedave and get a nice walk in today.

Cheers you all and see you over on WBAYDN where it's always a good time for a beer!
