Charles Schulz perfectly summed up pumpkin beers and I. Pumpkin beer is Lucy holding the football and I’m Charlie Brown running to kick and end up flat on my back. Again.

16oz can served in a footed pilsner glass. I don't see a date on it. @Ozzylizard surprised me with it in NBS BIF #17.

Pours clear pale yellow with a smallish head. Smell is smoky, oaky, moderate honey sweetness. Something light and airy about it.

Taste is similar -- delicately (but insistently) smokey, moderate honeysuckle sweetness. A little bit of an earthy bitterness.

Mouthfeel is very light and clean. Overall, this is a really nice beer.

12oz can served in a snulip. Dated 04/17/23. @jonphisher sent it to me because he's an angel.

Pours surprisingly murky amber. Smallish, dense head. Smell is caramel, toffee, burnt nuts, moderate graininess.

Taste is similar, but with more breadiness, and more of a roasted grain flavor. Burnt nut bitterness.

Mouthfeel is dry, light, clean. Overall, not a huge amber ale guy, but this is a good amber.

12 oz can pkgd 7/10/23 into a Becher glass.
L: Pours clear brassy caramel with a few large carbo bubbles, a fast moving off white head that recedes to a cookie shape, random light lacing.
S: A hint of bread, caramel malts, lightly grassy, a hint of light apple.
T: Grassy herbal hops, bready malts, the classic central axis of SN yeast, fruity, citrus & zest, pine resin, very light apple, it is mildly full-flavored and is lightly rich. Has a lightly bitter finish.
F: Gently crisp, smooth and med-bodied with a round center and a fairly fast drying finish.
O: Very tasty, easy drinking for 6% ABV. Nice and fresh at 3 wks in the can, fruity, bready & dry. It is outstanding in its style.
