Poured from a 16 ounce can dated 7-20-23 into a teku glass.

Look- Medium gold, very hazy, frothy white head, average head retention and lacing.

Smell- Melon, clementine, pith, medium strength of scent.

Taste- Clementine, melon, pithy, mildly astringent, medium strength of flavor.

Feel- Medium body, average carbonation, moderately bitter, moderately creamy, mildly astringent.

Overall- Medium gold and very hazy with average head retention and lacing. Bouquet was medium strength with notes of melon, clementine and pith. Flavor was clementine, melon and pith with mild astringency. Feel was medium body with moderate bitterness and creaminess. Overall this beer provided a good drinking experience, but could have used less astringency and more vibrant flavors and aromas to raise the bar.

Pours a mildly hazy, peach colored body; thin yet lasting head, white and moderately dense. Very nice aroma; peach, banana, melon; fresh. The taste follows along the lines of the smell; tropical fruit with a very light biscuit-like malt flavor; slight note of bitterness; delicate sweetness. Medium-light body; juicy with a mild crispness.

This fine beer does a fine job of providing a light, easy drinking beer with gentle tropical fruit notes. This makes for a fine warm weather refresher.

    Happy NBS all!
Picked up a couple of these for a NBW BIF box and only sent one, thought I might drink the other.
Poured a lovely deep amber color and was capped with a manilla colored head that never exceeded a cm in height but left curtains of lacing in the glass.
Aroma lost on my Covid damaged nose.
The taste was actually much better than I expected: the blueberry was present but not overwhelming, the vanilla added a sweet dimension that countered the lemon and it all worked together for a very pleasant taste.
The feel is excellent, despite the lack of head, carbonation gives it a nice edge; which is good I guess as the hops are missing from the picture.
OA, I may replace “Freedom of Speech” with this one for my go to summer beer.
    Cheers all!

I stopped at the Rhinelander taproom yesterday I bought a 32oz can of Hodag Bourbon Barrel Dag'toberfest marzen. I drank it during the Packers-Bears game

    Here is my review:
    Brewed in Rhinelander not Monroe.
Look: rather transparent brown body. nice head that dissipates quickly leaving no lacing.
    Smell is Bourbon
Taste is bourbon, and dark brown bread and a little caramel. Sweet overall. Bourbon is the dominate flavor but really isn't overly strong.
Feel is good, slightly syrupy and sticky.
factory rated at 9.5% ABV but seems like only about 7.5%

It's good but not great. This beer was better than I thought it was going to be.

Good evening all you fellow beer geeks. My nightcap was one that I bought for SAN but decided to drink it tonight.
Transient “Catch these PAWS” American Imperial Stout aged on roasted hazelnuts, vanilla beans, and toasted coconut.
Wish I could say that I tasted each of those adjuncts individually but no, I just got an amazing flavor that defies my ability to describe and dang it’s amazing. It is one of the few beers I’ve bought for the price that I would buy again because it is that good. Transient does good stouts.
Cheers all, hope you all had amazing weekends!
