    Mad props to @muchloveforhops3 for this Teutonic terror. Bombastic Business Adambier German Strong Ale, 14.0 ABV; 4,02 overall

    Pours an effervescent chestnut/mahogany with a pinky of tan head. Zero head retention & lacing

    S: Hints if bubblegum, beechwood smoke. toffee & a little iron once warm, drops off some once warm. Booze surfaces late in a minor supporting role

    T: Smokey, some booze, dryness. toffee as well up front. Dryness, peat, smokeyness, toffee, a touch of seaweed, plus chicory, horehound & tobacco once warm, some booze as well, plus Anise. Finishes with pipe tobacco, peat & medicinal sweetness & Rausch presence. Finishes with some beechwood, treacle &dark cherry tobacco,[plus barrel & booze

    MF: Medium body, slight carbonation , some booze bite

    Spent 3+ years in Germany & never heard of this. Sort of a Dusseldorf meets Bamberg to me. I aint mad! ABV is so concealed

    I never managed to try the Wit before, from Kasteel.

    Light and lemony-orange tasting. This gets better as you sip. There is some spicy favor but not very strong. The whole taste is restrained and mellow. Sudsy mouthfeel with a tangy finish. Orange in the nose. Overall this is quite pleasant for being less strongly flavored than many beers in the Wit style. From the 500 ml can purchased on the West Coast.
