    Well, if everyone is checking out, I'll have one more: Hogus Maximus Triple IPA from Postdoc Brewing in Seattle.

    Mouthfeel is hot and sudsy and prickly in every way imaginable. This is very sharp but not really acidic nor astringent. Hop flavors come blasting like over-driven speakers. It's like being waterboarded with grapefruit juice. Somehow it's quite sippable and the alcohol ties it all together into a hot mess. Stupendously bitter, however. Whiskey chaser is advised.
