Happy New Beer Weekend SUNDAY (OG) EDITION!!!
Thanks to @Victory_Sabre1973 for this most interesting and tasty sipper.

Shove It by The Brewing Projekt

An imperial sour ale with milk sugar, raspberry, rhubarb, cinnamon, and graham flavor

Deep rhubarb pie color. Fluffy pink-tinged off white head is assertive and then settles to a thin film,. Nice clumpy lacing.
Nose is a pulpy rhubarb-raspberry melange with light notes of sour green apple, apricot, and maybe cranberry.
Flavor follows the nose beautifully, but really finds its focus on the rhubarb and raspberry. The grains hint any the graham cracker ever so lightly. And I'm guessing that the lactose sweetness, which is lush, also gives a tiny space for the vanilla to add a most subtle presence on the tongue. Very nuanced.
Mouthfeel is a tad slushy, predominantly sweet (a tad tart), and mildly carbonated.
    Overall, a really fun ride.

Evening all! I just finished watching the latest episode of Mare of Easttown (holy shit) and am enjoying this absolutely stellar baltic porter from @Roy_Hobbs.

Fox Farm Brewery - Echos a baltic porter aged in bourbon barrels and stainless steel with honey checking in at 11% ABV.

Pours a dark, dark brown color, bordering on black. Thick velvety brown head forms on the beer, then dissipates eventually leaving no residual head. The aroma on this is lovely - there is the baltic porter aspect that has notes of lightly roasted malts, lightly twangy yeast notes with some earthy hops coming through towards the back end. Bourbon and oak come through but not strong enough to dominate the underlying baltic porter. Finally, there is a sweetness that permeates the aroma revealing the light honey notes.

Taste has notes of roasted malts, dark chocolate, dark fruits, red grapes with a light roasty bitterness on the back end. A light honey sweetness comes through in the flavor profile. The bourbon is present, noticeable, but balanced overall. As the beer warms there is a light booziness to the profile. Feel is medium to moderately bodied. Smooth, velvety mouthfeel. Moderate carbonation. Somewhat drier on the finish.

Overall this is a lovely beer and I thoroughly enjoyed sipping it this evening. Many thanks to @Roy_Hobbs for this one!
