I'm on the road, but am squeezing in one new beer this week. Swami's IPA from Pizza Port. Poured from fridge temp. Pours a nice yellow/orange with white head. The nose immediately screams pine, lemon, and orange creamsicle. Resin. I get a bit of carrot cake and barnyard funk. The taste is super smooth. Not overly resinous, but it's there. the immediate flavors are citrus, but the pine needle bitterness comes through on the aftertaste. Also getting tree sap, grass, and leather. Really nice balance. Overall, a fantastic IPA. Cheers all!

I found this one at a local mini mart and couldn't pass it up. Berry Pusher from Great Notion. I'll actually be staying in Portland tomorrow night on my way up to Canada, but why not get a preview while still in California! Poured from fridge temp after purchasing at a mini mart next to my hotel. Pours a nice orange/reddish color with white head. The nose on this is amazing. The strawberry, blueberry and honey work magic together. I'm definitely getting all of them on the nose, although the blueberry isn't as dominant. I'm getting a big lactose note and almost a cider smell. The fruit is just so fresh on the nose. The taste is out of this world. I immediately get a blast of jolly ranchers. The fresh strawberries are dominant on this one. The honey is there, along with vanilla, some fresh figs (actually, this is quite strong), and a floral taste. The mouthfeel is light and perfect for this beer. The aftertaste is sweet with a touch of blueberry skins. I'm a fan.

[IMG] Poured into a 16 oz Snulip glass canned this week. Pours a thick chunky yellow orange with a bunch of bubbles, that slowly settles leaving all kinds of sticky stuff on the sides of the glass. 4

Aroma mango, peach, and orange sorbet really not picking up any marshmallow. 4

Taste follows mango, peach, orange sorbet, and I am picking up marshmallow in the finish, tasty but it literally feels like you are sipping a fruit smoothie. 4

Mouthfeel is too thick, not dry but sticky for sure, very little carbonation, and it drinks much bigger than the 5.8%. 3.75

Overall this is nice but I have a few of these styles that still drank a lot more like beer. This version has Mango, Marshmallow, and Sorbet in it. One and done for me, a tad too much. 4 Cheers all.
