Prairie Plum Conundrum Sour Ale, 5.3% ABV; 3.89 overall. No more new beers this weekend

Pours an effervescent hazed plum color with pinkish head. No head retention & lacing

S: Black currants & blackberries, sweet smelling

T: Follows the nose, a little tartness & dryness as well up front, Tart & salty notes mix with black currants, dried plum almost like the crack seed I'd some times get in Hawaii. Finishes dry, sweet, tart & salty with black currant dominating

MF: Medium body, fairly firm carbonation

Delivers on most of the promised flavors, just no ones that are really in my wheelhouse. Like most of their beers today, I hold out out for singles, good choice on this

A Zwickelbier I picked up on my road trip a couple weeks ago: Atlas from Templin Family in Salt Lake City.

16oz can served in a stemless glass. Bought it at the brewery a couple weeks ago. Don't see a date on the can.

Pours crystal clear light yellow with a small head that leaves a millimeter thick skin on the both the beer and the glass. Due to the description of being unfiltered, I'm a little surprised how clear it is. Smell is primarily yeast with a little bit of a grain tea aroma. Muted.

Taste is very grainy, light and clear. Strong bitter finish -- surprisingly piney. A little bit of a honeysuckle sweetness.

Mouthfeel is very light, clean, and dry. Overall...I'm not sure if I can really rate it to style, but it's definitely a tasty beer.

All right...not quite willing to promise it, but most likely this is my last beer of the weekend. Lupo Lab Linear Combination 2, from Equilibrium.

16oz can served in a stemless glass. Dated May 07 21. Bought it three days ago at Pint Defiance. Wish I would have checked the date before purchasing.

Pours a hazy whitish-orange. Medium sized creamy head. Smell is tropical juice and a little haze.

Taste is a little bit boozy, mostly tropical and citrus. Lots of citrus pith, in fact.

Mouthfeel is medium but just a little bit fluffy. Overall...I was worried about this beer being too old, but it has held up reasonably well. I can tell it's not at its peak, but it's still quite enjoyable.

Amen, I went to the Titanic exhibit in Belfast, Ireland 2 years ago. The history of the shipyard, the 12 hour work days, the locking people out, the deplorable conditions. It all was so vividly explained there. Our history of improving rights and conditions for workers has not ended. And this 3-day weekend should be a reminder instead of just a BBQ day.
