Greetings all from the great northwest.

Mack and Jacks is synonymous with African Amber, but they do brew other beers. Today we have Brite Rail IPA. https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/858/488059/

A light, crisp, clean IPA with subdued bitterness and fruit flavors. Very drinkable.

    Until next time,

    Blasphemy

Just kidding, I've had Shake Shack twice, and they are solid. Just love my In n Out, the peppers and freshness! Usually get one double double, no salt, with mustard, lettuce, grilled onions and tomato. Just love the freshness of it all, and the sides of peppers (usually grab 6-8) are my jam. They will also put sliced ones on your burger on request.

Most people trash In n Out's fries, but I like them - clean/not greasy. The anti-Five Guys.

Ryeway is my favorite, you'll likely love all three. I'm not even a big barley-wine guy, but their Straight Jacket really works for me. I haven't been buying all the adjunct releases the past few years (fruit or maple). They are typically too sweet for me, but I'll try to have a short draft pour and if I really like, I'll try to get those as well.

Yes, I have one in mind for the special day!

Sadly, the closest you can get is the "batch" number within a year.

LXX-XXX = XX = last two digits of the year, XXX = Batch number within the year. I'd guestimate 50-60 batches per month, but that is strictly a guess.

I bought an old one, learned this the hard way, but turned lemons into lemonade by conducting a side by side to compare the difference an out of code Chimay Cinq vs. a much fresher one.

I'm with you @ichorNet on the Cryo beers, tried a few and getting the same empty hop impact.

@jonphisher & @snaotheus - Those Columbus beers sounded great! Need to hunt them down later this year (finally tried Fat Heads for the first time this year, definitely great).
