I bought this last weekend and really enjoyed it. Especially at $9.99/six. Might be my new go to every day beer.

The Holiday Haze in the snowpack was quite a let down. Nothing stood out, was bland all around.

Yes, an economical price is a benefit.

Unfortunately for my the Sierra Nevada prices are often higher in Pennsylvania as compared to other states (e.g., I can buy Sierra Nevada beers cheaper in Delaware but that is a 1.5 hour round-trip for me).

The other issue I often experience is that Sierra Nevada beers are often old (> 150 days old) at my local retail stores.

The one benefit of this specific brand is that since it was just released I know that these specific beers are not old. Whether that will be the situation 1 year from now, not likely if past history is a predictor here.

    Cheers!

Ugh...once New Belgium does it you know the trend has jumped the shark. I LOVE that my local breweries in northern CA are experimenting with the style now and some are getting pretty close, but NB should learn how to make good beer in general first before trying out a hazy one.

Dude, New Belgium makes very good beer. They helped push craft beer to where it is today. Their sour program pushed boundaries and changed how people think about beer brewed with wild yeast.

I think they're a little bit lost right now with where to take the brand, but they no means don't know how to brew beer.

It's cool to bash NB, you can't taste the rare.
