A little late to the party, aren't they? I was never a fan of Ranger (even fresh off the canning line when I toured the brewery) so I won't be in line to try this one.

Their bottle art remains some of my least favorite. At least they are consistent on that front...

As for the beer, not a NB fan, not a session IPA fan, but I am interested in checking this out. Session IPA's generally lack any malt presence (to my disappointment), NB beers generally are heavy handed with the malt, so this might actually work for me. Probably won't, but might.

This is starting with 2 strikes for me. I dislike most of New Belgium's hoppy beers and I dislike Session IPA's in general.
Now that I've said that...watch this be awesome.

Yes they are behind a lot of breweries as far as putting out a session IPA but the one thing they have going for them is that this beer will be most likely be more widely distributed than any of the other session IPAs and will probably be cheaper. SN has a session IPA but to my knowledge it was only part of a variety pack and bottles only (probably take SNPA over most session IPAs anyway), SA doesn't have one. Stone GoTo is widely distributed but it's bottles only and kind of expensive.

I'll probably give it a shot next spring/summer.

Don't forget Founders All-Day. I see that everywhere and it's cheapest I've found so far.

that's my choice of session IPAs but they don't really distribute too far west and I don't see it at nearly as many places that I see NB beers, I see NB pretty much anywhere that sells beer.

Yeah, NB may be a "little late" to the session IPA party, but they have WIDE US distro and will be priced right; just happy we now get NB and Deschutes both in OH (along with Sweetwater too!)....cans of this for like $8.99 a sixer would be great for next spring and outdoors stuff!

Have heard this is a pretty tasty beer, just kind of curious to see how it will do in 12 pack cans vs. 15 pack cans of a well established Founders All-Day. Theres a lot of negativity on here towards session IPA's it would seem but they sure do sell well.

I love Ranger when it's fresh so I'll be excited to try this.

I can get all day ipa here in WI for I believe 13.99 a 15 pack of cans.
