Hello all, With a little help from my friends, I'm become more and more addicted to the fine libations that are out there. I managed to be solicited with some Dark Lord and that's all it took. Their like crack dealers, my friends are. That being said, I'm anxious to learn and broaden my horizons during this new adventure. Thanks for having me. Hendy
welcome fellow michigander. if you like stouts then some of the easier ones to find are Bells Expedition, Dark Horse Plead the 5th, Founders Breakfast Stout, and Dragons Milk. if you have a chance you can try to go to the World Beer Expo next month in Frankenmuth.
Thanks Have had the Bells, BreakStout, and Dragons milk. All great fairly easy to get beers. Been tooling for the Plead and have yet to lock some down. I'm still mapping all the stores and trying to get on lists for all incoming HTF labels. Thanks for the heads up on Frankenmuth. Bonus is to drop the Boss Lady at Bronners with the Amex and tell her to catch a carriage into town. Headed to DLD this weekend and looking too forward to it.
They're both on Weiss Street. You can walk from Bronners to Heritage Park in less than 10 minutes. Also the Black Forest brewpub is directly across the street Bronners.
What city are you in? If you are in GR, there are a few of us that have occasional tastings, these would be great for you to try some different beers. It is always nice to break in a newbie
Welcome! I've been frequenting the site for quite some time, but just joined recently as well. (This is actually my first forum post). Is this the best forum to get info on releases, tastings and other events in the area? Thanks in advance! Cheers, Klinge
I'm a Sterling Heights resident. So GR a bit of a truck. Grabbed a bottle of Doom yesterday. It's starting to pop up here and there. Thanks for the welcomes.
Just gotta say welcome and say goodbye to your wallet! Seriously though, welcome, tis a wonderful hobby to have and a wonderful state we live in for it.
