    I had a good experience with one of their beers, and then one was perhaps literally the worst beer I've ever had. They contacted me to attempt to send me some free beer, I gave them my address, but nothing ever happened. Clearly they have some lofty ambitions and good ideas, but the execution has been pretty far off.

    Just curious, how did that situation arise? Was it via BA/Untappd/etc or something else entirely?

    Yeah I posted a poor Untappd review, and they commented asking me to email them so they could "make it up to me." I did, they responded asking for my address, I sent it, and never heard from them again.

    I checked into one of their beers on untappd when I visited their taproom. 15 minutes later, the bartender gave me a free bottle of one of their "limited" beers. Apparently, the owner called the taproom, and told him to do so.

    They seem like good people. I do think the beer is getting better. I do also think that they need to focus on core beers and get those styles right before venturing into "saurs" and other experimental styles.

    Their sours are just as good as 5/6 of the DeGarde beers I've drank

    Emailed them through their website on Saturday about the infection; still haven't heard back. Guess it'll be one and done for me.

    I had the best experiences with them . I was in town for work and went to the brewpub hotel. They didn't open for hours and a guy on the street saw me peering through the window. He said I should go to NB. I did and it wasn't tap hours, but they took time out of brewing to pour me a flight and then some. After the flight I bought one of every bottle they had available and enjoyed every one. Like the hotel, they could have said "we're closed "

    To this day I buy the NB beers when I see them and have yet to try any from the hotel.

    I don't mean to bash them, but Mexican Cannon was awful. It had an off putting chemical aroma and was way too salty. Without a doubt the worst beer I've had from a brewery.

    They got back to me and said they'd replace the bottle of Shiva's once they bottled another batch in the next few weeks. On verra...
