Does anyone have any information about the Whetstone Station Restaurant & Brewery in the old Riverveiw Diner location in Brattleboro.

Not much, but I believe it's going to be run by the owners of the Forty Putney Road B&B in town and the website, Here for the Beer. It also sounds like it's going into the old Riverview Cafe. Not sure about much more, though. Haven't looked at it yet, but seems to be some info here: https://www.facebook.com/whetstonestation

Hmm, is that why we have heard nothing about this year's Brattleboro Brewfest in May? Tim & Amy who own 40 Putney Road were the movers & shakers that got that fest going. Deanhead - please chime in here!

Tima and Amy are teaming up with David Hiler to open up the new brewery. It's still in the works and they would like to open as soon as all the pieces fall into place.
Here is a link to a recent article from the Reformer regarding the Whetsone.

As far as the Brattleboro beerfest goes, last it was going to take place on September 22 this year. It's not clear to me if Tim and Amy are organizing the event this year.

I knew you'd have the details - thanks! Will miss seeing everyone in May - but, there are way too many September fests though, so may have to skip it this year.
