Trustee is the way to go. I do it for 2 already and would not want to increase to 3. Just too much work

If I could find a trustee I would do this in a heartbeat

Sour in the rye with kumquats was maybe my favorite at the Firestone invitational!

Hi Josh (I assume that is your name...)

Not sure who you emailed at The Bruery (if it was me, then I'm sorry...), but we cannot ship out of state due to CA ABC 3-tier regulations. Most out of state members have local trustees who ship their beer to them, or plan at least 1 visit to CA to pick up their allocations.

    Cheers,
    Matt

It can indeed be a lot of work. We have our bottles shipped to our trustee in CA. Then all he has to do is print the label we send him, slap it on the shipper he just received, and put it right back out the door. We make it as simple as possible for our trustee. If done right, no one's RS/HS trustee should have to break but the mildest sweat.

    Hi Matt!

Yes, Josh is my name and thank you for the response! I sent it to [email protected], so whoever that goes to...

Regardless, thank you for the response and I will definitely have to look for a trustee! Love what you guys are doing out there! If I can convince my uncle in Ventura to do it, then I may be good to go...can't get out to CA myself for a while, unless I get a lucky business trip...

    Cheers!
    Josh

Does your trustee send it with the "Contains Alcohol" labels still attached? I have heard that the FedEx / Kinko's drop off places really give people a hard time with those labels attached...

If anyone needs a trustee and don't mind the shipping to me, I'll do it. BM me.

Anyone know how long Mash and M&G were aged in bourbon?

I am a member of the Hoarders Society. It was invitational only, and I really think they just threw at a dart board as I know people who spent ALOT more than me over the years and did not get in.

Really looking forward to picking up my allocations in a few weeks. Can't wait to try the blueberry sour.

I really want to try Mash/Mash & Grind, if anyone in LB/OC doesn't want to max out allocations maybe we can work something out.

I never max out my allocations. I just don't have the money for it(for now). I'm moving to Denver next week so if anyone in that area ever wants anything please let me know, I will gladly let you place orders under my account. I have a really good friend that I just added as a trustee so no problem there. In person only, sorry, just want to keep it simple.

Just throwing it out there...but anyone who has a member ship, be it Reserve or Hoarders, that isn't buying ever single bottle that the Bruery affords them the opportunity to...should be going out of their way to open it up to others. There are 6 of us in our Hoarders group, and we STILL don't buy every single bottle that's opened up to us. When that happens, we just ask our friends if they're interested (and they always are) and they PayPal us some loot and we order it. I mean...you're paying for the privilege to be able to by a given number of bottles...why not take advantage? I'm certain we all know enough people that are into craft beer, but don't have a Bruery membership, that would love to try the stuff.

I have a steady trading partner on here that has a Crooked Stave membership, and he lets me buy stuff from his allocations he's not going to purchase, and vice versa on the Bruery stuff. It's a nice arrangement and keeps me from having to buy one of those memberships too.

I've only ever had one person send me a box with such a label attached...and it was a guy in Colorado who happened to work at a beer/liquor store. Because of my state's laws....I asked him going forward if he could please not affix the stickers. lol It fucks my world up.

I'm already trusteeing for other RS/HS members. I can't do it for anybody else, but I know a few good solid BA's that can. Hit me up if you want references.

Appreciate the offer, but I'll probably end up passing on it.. The cost would be through the roof anyways, and with my twins on the way, I'd probably be best served buying diapers instead of $35 bottles of beer from across the country.

If someone can be a trustee please BM me. I would love to get started but have no idea where to begin and what you would expect in return.
