I am headed up to union pier and new buffalo area this weekend and wondering if there are any good bottle shops in the area? Looking for the usual suspects of shorts and kuhnhenn etc. Thanks in advance for the help!
You won't find Kuhnhenns. For Short's check out Barneys Market and Bud & Elsie's gas station in New Buffalo. Plenty of Shorts offerings at both places.....Plus other Michigan breweries. (greenbush, arcadia, crankers, dragonmead) Be sure to grab a bite at Redamak's as well . Great burgers. Plus they have some Michigan beer on tap.
Thanks! Yeah we hit greenbush up in sawyer when it opened and it was great, redamaks is always solid too. Weve been going up there for 5-6 years but just making sure i wasnt missing out on some hidden gem. Any idea how far south in michigan kuhnhenn distributes? Cheers!
Kuhnhenn doesn't really distribute- you may find an odd bottle here and there (or in NY), but for the most part, their releases are brewery only.
